A 41-year-old massage therapist has been charged with sexually assaulting a client at the Hand & Stone Massage and Spa in Geneva.
According to the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office, on September 11, 2021, the victim arrived for a scheduled massage at Hand & Stone Massage and Spa in the 1400 block of South Randall Road, Geneva. The accused was scheduled as the massage therapist. During the massage, he sexually assaulted the victim.
The accused has been charged with:
- Criminal sexual assault, Class 1 felony
- Criminal sexual abuse, Class 4 felony (6 counts)
Judge Julia Yetter set bail at $40,000, with 10 percent ($4,000) to apply for bond.
The accused posted bond and was released. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 24, 2023, at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 313 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
