From Friday to Sunday, October 7-9, NAMI DuPage will host its Third Annual Octoberfest at the DuPage County Fairgrounds.
The annual event promises a carnival, live bands and entertainment, a car show, a pancake breakfast, kids activities, and beer and wine tastings.
The fun kicks off on Friday at 6pm with the carnival, food trucks and live music (starting at 7:30pm) provided by Keith Stras and Polka Confetti, followed by The Vital Signs.
Get Saturday off to a great start by joining Kiwanis of Central DuPage at their pancake breakfast from 8am-10am. At 4pm, it’s time for “Uncorked and Uncapped,” a Beer and Wine Tasting from local breweries and wineries. It’s $20 admission, 21+ only (includes General Admission) and includes heavy appetizers, raffle baskets and a wine pull.
Beginning at 9pm, enjoy the Octoberfest Car Show:
- $20 entry
- All makes and models welcome
- Awards for Judges Choice, Spectator Choice and Participant Choice
- Judging at 12pm, Awards given at 12:30pm
- Pre-Registration includes a FREE Pancake Breakfast
- If there is rain, and we cancel there is no rain date.
Sunday is Kids and Family Day, with special kids’ activity to go along the carnival, more live bands, food trucks, and fun.
