The Venue in Aurora will present its third and final festival of the season, in honor of its third year in business, with The Americana Music Festival.
On Friday, August 12, a three-day celebration will begin outdoors in beautiful Mundy Park in Aurora, just adjacent to The Venue.
Friday at 7pm, music begins with Nora O’Connor & Casey McDonough and continues with Nathan Graham. Headliners Chicago Farmer & The Fieldnotes will conclude the evening with a 9:15PM performance.
Saturday music gets underway at 6PM with local bluegrass duo Make It A Double, with Big Sadie to follow. Fox Valley favorites Dick Smith begin around 8PM. Headliner May Erlewine will take the stage at 9PM.
Sunday will see The Venue’s popular Album Covers series perform an all star salute to the Tom Waits classic, Mule Variations.
