TV personality and St. Charles resident Jenny McCarthy was one of the many Fox Valley elites spotted at the annual LivingWell Cancer Resource Center’s fundraiser held at the home of Ed and Karen French yesterday evening.
This year’s fundraiser, entitled “Rock The Block,” was a departure from previous years, taking the form of a massive block party outside the French’s home in St. Charles. The French’s have been hosting the annual event since 2010.
The event featured live music from party band Sushi Roll and strolling saxophonist Traysee J. Leonard.
A wide variety of food options were available from food trucks and local restaurants, including Gia Mia, Livia Italian Eatery, moto imoto, La Mesa, Graham’s Fine Chocolates and Ice Cream, Chefs Most Wanted private chef/catering, Hotel Baker, The Fat Shallot Food Truck, Toasty Cheese Food Truck, Carts of Chicago Specialty Hot Dogs, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Kernel’s Gourmet Popcorn, Churros Y Chocolate, Bella Rose Sweets, and the Sweetest Adventure.
All proceeds from the event go to support LivingWell’s mission to provide caring services and resources, completely free of charge, to cancer patients both during and after their treatment period.
