Breaking: Pedestrian Killed By BNSF Train In Aurora

Aurora police and officials from BNSF Railway are on-scene investigating the death of a pedestrian apparently struck by a freight train.

Prairie Street is shut down between Orchard Road and South Barnes Road in Aurora while the investigation is underway.

The incident happened earlier this afternoon. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
