4 FOR THE WEEKEND
where the rain in Spain really doesn’t matter, does it?
So let’s get to it, starting with…..
They’re Baaaacccckk!
Bwahahahahaha!
The time has come to begin again our torturing of the male species!
Yes, that’s right, Farmers Markets are back!
Ladies, grab that man firmly by the arm (holding an ear works too) and lead him straight to Geneva’s legendary French Market, which returns after it’s winter slumber.
Dudes, sorry not sorry.

Do It For The Chilren
Yep, time to get out there and take one for the team.
The team being your kids, of course.
Now, having raised a couple ourselves, we’re aware that Easter Egg hunts can sometimes turn out the way birthday parties for 4 year-olds do – basically a miniaturized combination of Survivor and MMA. “That’s MY Egg!” “Mommy, Johnny’s got more than me!”
You get it.
But it is our duty as parents to indulge the little monsters on occasion, and this is one of those occasions.
Be strong.

Back To The Adults
Now that the kiddies have been taken care of, and whatever gets taken care of at the French Market has been taken care of, let’s move on to more adult entertainment.
No! Not that kind, you degenerates. We’re a family publication!
I’m talking something refined.
Like the St. Charles Singers performing Mozart. If you haven’t heard them before, the St. Charles Singers are a delight.
This is their penultimate performance in their Mozart series. What have I told you people about “penultimate???”

And Finally…
A little jazz is a great way to wind up the weekend.
Kurt Elling is what the kids these days call a “beast.” Or is it, “da bomb?”
Hell, we don’t know, and we’re too tired to find out.
Anyway, head over to Wentz Hall in Naperville and check this guy out, or next weekend I’ll put 4 FARMERS MARKETS in this space!

After the last couple of weekends, this weekend looks almost palatable. Once we get past a pretty yucky Friday, Saturday and Sunday don’t look too bad. Saturday will see highs of 47 and Sunday hit 60. Both days look dry as well. As ever, plan accordingly.
If, for whatever reason, none of our fabulous four events doesn’t pop your cork, we’ll be very insulted. However, all hope is not lost. Simply go to www.foxvalleymagazine.com and check out our A+E and Events sections for other ideas.
Finally, please do us a favor. We would be eternally grateful if you could share this with some of your unsuspecting family, friends and neighbors. We’d also appreciate some love on our Facebook page (see below). Ok, technically it’s a “LIKE,” but don’t be pedantic. Also, that’s actually two favors. We’ll owe you.
Thanks for reading. Until next time…OH! One more thing. If you’re reading this via the website and would like to have this emailed to you bright and early every Friday morning, please SUBSCRIBE!
