4 FOR THE WEEKEND
where a Filet-O-Fish is a religious experience!
So let’s get to it, starting with…..
Yuckin’ It Up With Jay
Legendary comedian Jay Leno is coming to the Paramount in Aurora on Saturday for one show only.
Jay was kind enough to sit down with us (digitally) to chat about his one experience with road rage, why he works to be a “likable” comedian, his reaction to criticism when he left the Tonight Show, and much more.

Elton is 75 Years Old???
Like the song says, we remember when rock was young. It’s now geriatric.
Yep, Sir Elton is 75 years old today, and in celebration of the event, the Arcada is throwing a party featuring party favors and champagne tomorrow night.
It sounds like fun, but geritol and prune juice would really be more appropriate.
(Sorry, Elton.)

Hamilton And Mozart? Hell, yeah!
You’re reading that right.
In what appears to be an intriguing program, the West Suburban Symphony Orchestra and Chorus have planned a night that includes hits from the wildly popular musical Hamilton (among others) and the wildly popular…what’s his name, again?….oh, yeah, Mozart.
What makes it particularly interesting is that the orchestra will be playing Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, which is, to say the least, brooding. Popular, but brooding. Ought to be a stimulating evening.

And Finally…
Ok, we were going to do a mock hillbilly schtick in this space.
But, to show our exquisite sensitivity and aversion to microaggressions (and to avoid legal trouble), we are refraining.
Man, this whole woke thing really takes the fun outta things

Where the hell did spring go? Beginning this afternoon and all through tomorrow will be gray, windy, and generally yucky, with high temps hovering in the low-to-mid 40s. Sunday will at least be sunny, but pretty brisk with a high of 36. Yuck. As ever, plan accordingly.
If, for whatever reason, none of our fabulous four events doesn’t pop your cork, we’ll be very insulted. However, all hope is not lost. Simply go to www.foxvalleymagazine.com and check out our A+E and Events sections for other ideas.
Finally, please do us a favor. We would be eternally grateful if you could share this with some of your unsuspecting family, friends and neighbors. We’d also appreciate some love on our Facebook page (see below). Ok, technically it’s a “LIKE,” but don’t be pedantic. Also, that’s actually two favors. We’ll owe you.
Thanks for reading. Until next time…OH! One more thing. If you’re reading this via the website and would like to have this emailed to you bright and early every Friday morning, please SUBSCRIBE!
