    Fatal Crash Involving A Motorcycle Being Investigated By APD

    The Aurora Police Department is investigating a fatal accident involving a vehicle and motorcycle that occurred yesterday evening in the Butterfield Parkway/Farnsworth/Kirk Road area.

    After police arrived, the motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene.

    APD’s Traffic Division remained on-scene reconstructing the crash until approximately 11:40 last night, during which time Butterfield Parkway was shut down between Raddant Road and Farnsworth Ave/Kirk Road. Church Road was shut down between Butterfield Parkway and Bilter Road.
