The Arcada Theatre says “Long Live the King!” this weekend as it welcomes back internationally-acclaimed Elvis tribute performer Shawn Klush. But first, a little rock n’ roll.

SteelHeart

Friday, September 3, 8pm

Tickets: $29 – $69

The aptly named SteelHeart is the rock n’ roll band fronted by internationally known Croatian-American musician Miljenko Matijevic. Miljenko’s powerful multioctave vocal range is and always has been the steel, heart and soul of what is SteelHeart. With much heart and steely determination, this band has been going strong and rocking hard for 30 years.

The group’s self-titled debut album ‘SteelHeart’ brought the group almost immediate commercial success. The original line up included Miljenko Matijevic (vocals, guitar, piano), Chris Risola (guitar), Frank DiCostanzo (guitar), James Ward (bass), and John Fowler (drums). The guys found themselves hitting the big time as their first album reached #40 on the Billboard 200 chart in 1990, being certified Gold by the RIAA in 1991.  The band’s hits include “She’s Gone”, “I’ll Never Let You Go (Angel Eyes)”, and  “Can’t Stop Me Lovin’ You” and many others!

Three Faces of the King: #1 Elvis Tribute

Saturday, September 4, 8pm

This is the longest consecutive running show at The Arcada, a salute to “The King” like none other.

Shawn Klush is an international superstar selling out arenas all over the world as Elvis Presley lives on through his performance.  Klush was chosen by Graceland as the Winner of Elvis Presley Enterprises’ first-ever Ultimate Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis, Tennessee.  Cody Ray Slaughter is hailed as one of the most talented, young Elvis Tribute Artists in the country.  He has played The Arcada before, and it has been jaw-dropping.

The two are backed by the #1 Elvis backing band in the world, The Fabulous Ambassadors.
