Illinois State Police officials have confirmed that the body discovered in the Fox River underneath the Route 20 bridge in Elgin is that of Dandre E. Curtis, 32 years old, of Elgin.
At this time, the Kane County coroner’s office cited the initial cause of death as drowning with no apparent signs of foul play. A completed coroner’s report is pending toxicology results.
