Geneva Lutheran will offer a TO – GO Swedish pancake breakfast, beginning at 8am until the pancakes are gone. Breakfast includes pancakes, topping, sausage and coffee, $8.00, cash only. Limited outdoor seating available. Proceeds will benefit Geneva Lutheran’s July youth mission trip to Martin, KY.

Each team guaranteed at least two games. Each player receives a dry-fit shirt. Team rosters limited to 5 players, players cannot play on more than one team. Teams placed in category of oldest player. Open to both boys and girls, ages 10 to adult. Teams age up to 15 play 8 am-12 pm; high school ages 16-18 play 10 am-12 pm; adult teams play 12-4 pm. (Schedules may vary based on enrollment.) Tour six historic Swedish stugas (tiny houses) in beautiful Good Templar Park. Guided tours begin on the hour and half hour between 10am to 4pm. Admission $10. Children 11 and under are free.

Kubb Demo & Game
Kane County Courthouse Lawn – South Side
Legend has it that Kubb dates back to the Swedish Viking Age, and was played with the skulls and femurs of their vanquished enemies. Rest assured, the game today is played with Kubbs(skulls) and Batons(femurs) made entirely of wood. The world championship for this lawn game is still played on the Swedish island of Gotland. Please join us for a demonstration of this game at 11:30 am, followed by an actual game at 1 pm.

Mix in musical groups with some food trucks and drinks and it is the perfect recipe for Swedish Days Dala-Palooza. Schedule below. Food and drinks will be available to purchase (no outside food/drinks may be brought in). These concerts will be performed in the garden area, so please bring your own seats and blankets. Ticket ($15) required to enter (limited availability). You will be purchasing your ticket through the Kane County Cougar ticketing system. After purchasing, the ticket(s) will be emailed to you. Expanded in our new location. Penrose Brewing, Stockholm’s, Art History Brewing and The Beer Cellar will be offering a variety of craft beers. Cheers to your favorites all in one location. Food from Papa Saverios will be able to be purchased (5-8 pm). Tonight (7-8:30 pm), enjoy the brother/sister duo of Danny and Katie O’Brien. These two are singers and guitarists with years of experience playing a wide range of music together. Their repertoire includes songs by Neil Young, The Beatles, Radiohead, Grateful Dead, Phoebe Bridgers and more.
