The Fox Valley continues to awaken from its long COVID slumber with the imminent re-opening of Aurora music hotspot The Venue in June.
“It is our 2nd anniversary, we are still here despite a worldwide pandemic and we are ecstatic to be able to share live music again!” The Venue Executive Director Melissa Mercado said in announcing the re-opening.
The Venue will resume hosting outdoor concerts in Mundy Park, which is adjacent to its space at 21 S. Broadway in downtown Aurora. During the shutdown, all of its performances have been live-streamed.
