Two people were robbed at gunpoint in Naperville Saturday evening, according to Naperville police. In a press release, the Naperville Police Department reported that at around 9:08pm Saturday officers responded to the 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue for an incident that was determined to be an armed robbery. According to the release, the two victims were approached by a man armed with a handgun and wearing a mask, who then robbed them of an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone. A Chicago man is in custody after abducting his nearly two-year-old child from the child’s Elgin home Friday afternoon. The 34-year-old suspect has been charged by the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office with Robbery (Class 2 Felony), Child Abduction-Violating a court order (Class 4 Felony), Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding (Class 4 Felony), Violation of an order of protection (Class A Misdemeanor), two counts of Domestic Battery (Class A Misdemeanor) and Child Endangerment (Class A Misdemeanor).
