The second annual Elgin Pride Parade and Festival in will be held in downtown Elgin on June 1st, 2024, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The parade steps off at 11:00am heading north on Riverside Drive and returning south on Grove Avenue, culminating at Festival Park. A former DuPage County Assistant State’s Attorney has been arrested and charged in federal court for allegedly threatening two Illinois State Representatives and their families via social media.
