A 26-year-old man is in hospital after being shot on Naperville’s far west side Thursday afternoon. At approximately 1:36pm Thursday, Naperville police officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Inland Circle where they located a twenty-six-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Naperville Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital. The offender, who police believe knows the victim, is believed to have fled the area. A 32-year-old Chicago man has been found guilty in a 2022 shooting in Aurora that paralyzed his victim. On Thursday, Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie L. Mosser announced that a jury has found Byron Frazier guilty of Attempt first-degree murder, a Class X felony; Aggravated battery with a firearm, a Class X felony; Armed violence, a Class X felony; and Armed habitual criminal, a Class X felony. Sebastian P. Kegebein, a 17-year-old resident of West Chicago, has agreed to a sentence of eight years of imprisonment in the Illinois Department of Corrections in exchange for a guilty plea to the offense of Attempt first-degree murder, a Class X felony. A bomb threat against entertainment arcade Round 1 in the Fox Valley Mall resulted in the temporary shut-down of a large portion of the mall Wednesday afternoon. According to Aurora police, at approximately 3:30pm officers responded to a bomb threat at Round 1 Fox Valley, a bowling and games arcade located in the popular Fox Valley Mall in Aurora.
