A 10-year-old boy on his bicycle was struck and injured by an unidentified hit-and-run driver Thursday morning at the intersection of Bailey Road and Coach Drive. The Naperville Fire Department transported the boy to a local hospital for treatment of significant but non-life-threatening injuries. On Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022 at 07:55 a.m., the Naperville Police and Fire Departments responded to the intersection for a report of a hit and run traffic crash with injuries. A 39-year-old man driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck struck and killed a horse on Route 47 in Plato Township late last night, according to a report from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office. The truck wound up off the roadway and the driver, a resident of Hampshire, was medevac’d to Lutheran General Hospital with serious injuries. At approximately 12:40am, a Kane County Sheriff’s Deputy was driving south on Illinois Route 47 near the intersection of Rohrsen Road when the Deputy observed a large deceased horse in the roadway.  The deputy then located a Dodge Ramm pickup truck off the roadway…
