Featured selections of Craft Beers created by local Fox Valley area brewing companies.

Atom Smasher
Named with our atom-colliding scientific neighbor in mind, Atom Smasher is a bold, full-bodied lager inspired by traditional Märzen-style beers. It pours a golden amber and opens with aromas of bready malt, cherry, biscuit and a touch of sweetness and booze. On the palate, layers of toasty malt, caramel and toffee are balanced by earthy hops, creating a rich, smooth and satisfying beer with plenty of character. At 7% ABV, Atom Smasher is built to pack a little extra punch while staying true to its malt-forward roots.

Oktoberfest
German Style Marzen 6% ABV. Oom-pah! Here’s our rift on the popular German style Marzen – aka Oktoberfest bier. Using the finest German malt, hops and lager yeast, this beer is malty and clean, with a beautiful mahogany hue. Ready to be shared by the liter!

Scarecrows in Lederhosen
Märzen Oktoberfestbier. September is the beginning of that special-est time of year: OKTOBERFEST SEASON! Scarecrows in Lederhosen, our annual Märzen release, returns to our taproom and store shelves in 16oz 4-packs for a limited time. All German malt, yeast, hops, and even water chemistry make this one of the most traditional Märzens around. Amber hued. Malty backbone. Balancing Tettnang hops. This is one of those lagers you don’t just drink; you experience it…especially on the patio as temps slowly start to cool. 6% ABV.

12th Anniversary Lager
English-Style Helles – 4.6% ABV. Our Twelfth Anniversary is in September and as we’ve always done since our very first Anniversary in 2015, we brewed a lager to celebrate! This year, we brewed a “Engish Style Helles,” which is our take on a German Helles using English ingredients. English Maris Otter malts give this a lightly toasted, bready maltiness, balanced by both a traditional English hop (East Keg Goldings) and a newer English hop (Ernest) providing a fruity and floral hopping.

Oktofest
6.0% ABV – German Style Marzen Lager. Brewed with a carefully selected blend of German malts, it delivers layers of toasty bread crust, caramel sweetness, and a smooth, nutty richness. Balanced with noble hops, the finish is clean, crisp, and lightly floral, keeping each sip refreshing and inviting. At 6% ABV, Oktofest strikes the perfect harmony between malt depth and drinkability—ideal for raising a stein (or two) at any fall gathering. Pair it with grilled bratwurst, roasted chicken, or classic Bavarian pretzels for the ultimate Oktoberfest experience. TIckets on sale now for our Penrose Oktoberfest event on Saturday, September 26 from 1-9 PM behind the Taproom.

Hopped Up Homer
Hoppy American Pils | 4.7% ABV. Our classic American Pilsner gets a hoppy twist with a dose of dry hopping. Pale, crisp, and clean, Hopped Up Homer is subtly dry with low residual sweetness and a refreshing finish that brings just the right amount of fresh hop character. It’s an easy-drinking pilsner with a little extra hop-forward attitude.
