The classic tale of George Bailey gets a unique treatment as Moonlight Theatre presents “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” Friday through Sunday, December 13-15.
Adapted by Joe Landry from the classic story “The Greatest Gift” by Phillip Van Doren Stern (made famous by Frank Capra’s 1946 cinematic masterpiece “It’s A Wonderful Life”), this beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
