West Suburban Irish will be putting on their fourth annual Naperville Irish Fest this weekend.
On Friday and Saturday, September 20-21, there will be live music, Irish cultural activities, Irish dancing, Hurling and Camogie demonstrations, children’s activities and more during the family-friendly festival at Naperville Central Park, 104 East Benton in Naperville. Hours are 3 to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday.
“We are thrilled to bring the community together once again to celebrate Irish culture and Ireland,” said Chris O’Hara, Co-Chair of the 2024 Naperville Irish Fest. “Whether you’re Irish by heritage or just Irish at heart, there’s something for everyone at Naperville Irish Fest. A family-friendly event, we invite all to join us for a weekend of music and shenanigans.”
Fest goers are encouraged to buy tickets in advance. Tickets are available at a discounted rate of $10 each and two for $15 until September 12, 2024, when they increase to $15 each and two for $25. All ticket sales are online; no cash tickets will be available at the gate. To purchase your tickets, please visit wsirish.org/IrishFest.

Hurling & Camogie
Learn about the ancient Gaelic Irish team sport still played today with members of Naperville’s very own Hurling & Camogie Club.
In the Hurling Batting Cage, learn how to swing that hurley and knock the sliotar (ball) out of the park during festival hours. All ages are welcome. Hurleys and sliotars provided or bring your own.
