The Fox Valley Orchestra will feature its 2023 Youth Concerto and Collegiate Voice Competition winners in a concert at the Crimi Auditorium at Aurora University on Sunday, January 21.
These serious, talented youth and young adult musicians will perform with the Orchestra & Chorus, with Stephen Squires conducting and Lisa Fredenburg as Chorus Master.
Performers will include 2023 Competition winners Eddie Zhou (Prokofiev Piano Concerto No.3); Julia Kim (Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor); Sofia Radovic (Bruch Violin Concerto in E minor); Aurelia Faidley (Elgar Cello Concerto in G minor); Rebecca Clark, soprano (Procht “Deh! torna mio bene”); and Ashton Jones, baritone (Handel “The Trumpet Shall Sound”).
Tickets can be purchased online here until noon, January 20. Online tickets prices are $20 for General Admission; $18 for students/seniors; and $12 for kids 8 & under. Ticket prices are higher at the door!
Crimi Auditorium is located at 1347 Prairie Street in Aurora.
