This weekend the Naperville Women’s Club will be hosting the 63rd Annual Naperville Fine Art & Artisans Fair at Naper Settlement.
It is, according to the sponsors, the longest-running juried art fair in Illinois.
The Fair will feature the juried work of over 100 artists and artisans from around the country displaying their crafts in ceramics, drawing, fiber arts, glass, metal, painting, photography, wood, jewelry and sculpture.
In addition, the Fair offers activities for the entire family. This year the NWC will once again select a piece of art from an exhibiting artist that will be reproduced into an 8×12’ mural. Attendees of all ages and skill levels can contribute to this by duplicating their own 8×8” square that will be stapled to a wood frame. Over the two day Fair, the final scene will emerge as the 8×12’ mural.
The event will offer live entertainment, a balloon artist, photo opportunities, food and drinks including adult beverages, as well as a Petite Picasso area for budding artists.
For more information, please visit the Naperville Woman’s Club Fine Art and Artisan Fair’s website.
The fair runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm at Naper Settlement, 523 South Webster Street in Naperville.
Admission and parking are free.
