The ever-popular Strawberry Festival returns this weekend at Windy Acres Farm in Geneva.
Visit the farm stand market and pick up your delicious, freshly-picked local berries. A summer fruit favorite, strawberries are plentiful in the month of June. We all love them because they are nutritious, versatile and oh so tasty. Find one or more varieties in stock during your visit.
Visit the Bakery for desserts made to order. Enjoy the famous US Strawberry Shortcake made with real strawberries, homemade strawberry compote, soft and fluffy shortbread and whip cream for every bite. Make sure to visit the chocolate strawberry cup booth for ruby red sweet strawberries covered in fine Italian melted chocolate. Plus, find your tasty favorite treats here like homemade cinnamon buns, funnel cake, donuts, strawberry pie, tarts, homemade popcorn, slushies and more! Made fresh daily. The Bakery is located at the north side of the farm stand.
Join in the fun with hours of family activities during Strawberry Festival. Visit the Petting Zoo, Take a ride on the Choo Choo Express, race through the ropes course, enjoy Mini Golf, test your skills at Skee-Ball, take a ride on the 3 Little Piggies track, jump super high on the Jumping Pillow, celebrate with live music/entertainment and more. Then visit the Bar and Grill for Lunch and to refresh with tasty Strawberry beverages. Free parking, restrooms, baby changing stations, mother’s nursing area, wheelchair accesible locations, hand washing stations – all are available.
The farm is open 9-6pm. The activity area is open 10-5pm.
