Meet Tuba — The Fun-Loving Goofball Ready to Be Your Best Friend!
Tuba is a 63-pound Staffy mix sweetheart with a soft tan-and-white coat, dazzling blue eyes, and a personality that is larger than life. This handsome guy is equal parts affectionate companion, goofy entertainer, and eager student, all wrapped up in one wiggly package!
Tuba absolutely adores people and lights up the moment he sees his favorite humans coming his way. His tail starts wagging instantly, and he’s always excited for the chance to head out on an adventure. Whether he’s strolling through the neighborhood, sniffing every interesting smell he can find, or proudly climbing onto a bench to survey the world around him, Tuba approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He walks nicely on a leash most of the time and enjoys exploring at a relaxed pace with his people by his side.
This lovable lug is also a very smart boy who truly wants to learn. Tuba already knows cues like sit, down, and touch, and he’s eager to continue building his skills with positive reinforcement, treats, and encouragement. He thrives when given guidance and structure, and he’ll do best in a home excited to continue helping him grow into the best version of himself. Watching Tuba learn and gain confidence is incredibly rewarding—he’s the kind of dog who looks to his people for reassurance and wants nothing more than to make them proud.
Tuba’s excitement for life can sometimes spill over into a little extra silliness. He loves people so much that he may try to grab onto shoelaces during playtime or become a bit jumpy and mouthy when he’s especially excited. Thankfully, he’s already making great progress with training and responds very well to patient, consistent guidance. Underneath all that enthusiasm is simply a happy dog who is still learning appropriate ways to express his joy.
He also enjoys the company of other dogs and is continuing to learn good social manners and appropriate play skills. With proper introductions and continued positive experiences, Tuba could make a wonderful canine companion for the right dog.
At the end of the day, Tuba is a sweet, affectionate, goofy-hearted dog who just wants someone to share life with. He’s the kind of pup who will keep you laughing with his antics, warm your heart with his loving nature, and happily tag along for whatever the day brings. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
