The 25th Annual Blooming Fest is DuPage County’s official welcoming committee of spring held in West Chicago’s downtown. Gardening enthusiasts, craft lovers, and everyone else, are welcome to explore the event that features one of the region’s largest plant sales, live music, a variety of craft and food vendors, and enjoyable family-friendly activities.
5,000+ Plants for Sale & More
One of the main attractions of Blooming Fest is the large plant sale hosted by the West Chicago Garden Club where attendees will have the chance to view and purchase over 5,000 plants, including: natives, annuals, perennials, and vegetable seedlings. The garden sale is open from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Craft, Garden, & Food Vendors
While gardening enthusiasts will enjoy developing their green thumbs at the plant sale, visitors can also browse through craft, garden, and food vendors.
Family-Friendly Activities at the kidZone (9:00am – 1:00pm)
Face Painters, balloonist, Community Organizations Spring Activities & Raffle (Stop by the start table and pick up a sticker card. Visit the booths, join the activity, and get a sticker for your card. Once you have your card filled out enter our raffle and you will be entered to win some fun prizes!)

Chalk the Walk
To help commemorate the 25th anniversary of Blooming Fest, the City is hosting a Chalk the Walk event which will feature 10+ artists demonstrating a live chalk art experience. Be sure to vote for your favorite chalk art!
