The Aurora Police Department and the Kane County Coroner’s Office have released an update on the fatal shootings that occurred Saturday at Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora.

“The Kane County Coroner responded to an incident at the Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora which occurred on November 22, 2025. Two decedents were transported to the Kane County Coroner’s Office. The two individuals have been positively identified as Jazmine Barclay, age 24, of Aurora, and Bryan Heineman, age 43, of Naperville,” said Kane County Coroner, Dr. Monica Silva. “On behalf of my entire staff, I wish to relay our deepest condolences to the loved ones of Ms. Barclay and Mr. Heineman.”

According to the police, the suspect, Heineman, and Barclay had been in a dating relationship. On Saturday evening, Barclay and a 33-year-old male were together on the upper-level balcony of the Roundhouse music room when Heineman entered the business. Evidence suggests he went there specifically to confront the pair and may have learned their location from a social media post. Moments after approaching them, Heineman opened fire, striking both victims before turning the gun on himself.

Barclay was transported to Mercy Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased due to gunshot wounds. The 33-year-old male remains in critical condition in the ICU. Heineman was pronounced deceased at the scene. No bystanders were struck by gunfire or injured.

A firearm was recovered near Heineman, along with additional evidence consistent with witness statements.

“This was a deeply traumatic event for the victims, their families, the employees and patrons who were there, and the community as a whole,” said Aurora Police Chief Matt Thomas. “People simply trying to enjoy their night out were suddenly confronted with targeted violence. Our hearts are with the victims, their families, and every member of our community who is still processing what they experienced.”

Two victims are dead and one remains in critical condition after shots broke out at Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora Saturday evening.

According to police, at around 9:10pm, Aurora Police Dispatch received multiple 911 calls for shots fired at 205 North Broadway (Two Brothers Roundhouse), where responding officers found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Patrol officers began life-saving measures before Aurora Fire Paramedics transported two of the victims to area hospitals.

One adult female victim was transported to an area hospital and later pronounced dead; one adult male victim was transported at an area hospital and is in critical condition.

An adult male, believed to be the shooter, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary information gathered by Detectives from the Aurora Police Department’s Investigations Division and Evidence Technicians suggests that the three individuals knew each other and that this shooting appears to be a domestic violence related incident.

At this time, there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the community.

Autopsies will be scheduled to determine the exact cause and manner of death and confirm the identity of the victim and offender.

“Our hearts are heavy tonight. Members of our community were senselessly shot while simply trying to enjoy a night out, and our entire city feels the weight of that violence.” Chief Matt Thomas said. “On behalf of the Aurora Police Department, I want the victims and their families to know we are standing with you and doing everything we can to make sure you have answers.”

While the investigation remains ongoing, police are encouraging the public to come forward with any information. Anyone with information is asked to call the Aurora Police Department’s Investigations Division at (630) 256-5500.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at (630) 892-1000 or online at www.p3tips.com/135. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of felony crime offenders and fugitives.
