The Montgomery Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in the stabbing of a pregnant mother Saturday morning.
The suspect is a Hispanic male, age 39, with dark hair, estimated height between 5’4” and 5’6”, approximately 190lbs. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a dark colored jacket. Police caution that if you see the suspect, he may be armed and should not be approached. Anyone with information is urged to contact 911.
According to police, on Saturday at approximately 8:30am, officers responded to the 2200 block of Jericho Road in Montgomery and discovered a pregnant woman who had been stabbed multiple times. She was taken to hospital where she and the unborn child remain in critical but stable condition. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown manner and remains at large.
