Update: According to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, the body found Saturday afternoon in the Burlington Park Forest Preserve was that of a 44-year-old Naperville man.
The identity of the man remains undisclosed, although an autopsy performed by the DuPage County Coroner’s Office indicated that no foul play was involved. The cause of death also remains undisclosed.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a dead body discovered in a Naperville forest preserve over the weekend.
According to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, the body was reported at around 3pm Saturday afternoon in the Burlington Park Forest Preserve.
The identity of the victim and the cause of death remain unknown at this time.
Officials indicate that there is no know threat to the public at this time.
