Whether you’re new to venturing out in the cold snowy months, or a seasoned pro, join Forest Preserve District’s “Snowshoe Adventure” program on Sunday, February 2, to give you the skills you need to be comfortable snowshoeing.
After mastering skills like stride length, heel-toe step, and climbing over obstacles, hit the trail for a naturalist-guided hike through the winter wonderland. Snowshoeing is fun, easy, and the perfect way to explore Kane County forest preserves this winter.
The program runs from 9:30am to 11am.
The fee is $25/person/program and is for ages 8 and above. Advance registration is required. To register, visit www.kaneforest.com/register, call 630-444-3190, or email [email protected].
