Naper Settlement will host its annual Oktoberfest, featuring traditional German cuisine, beer, live music, and activities, on Friday, October 4, from 5-10pm and Saturday, October 5, from 3-10pm.
Guests are invited to gather inside Naper Settlement’s giant heated tent to enjoy lively Oompah music, modern polka, pop, R&B, and yacht rock. On Saturday, there will be a stein holding contest as well as a children’s area with activities for the entire family.

Naper Settlement will celebrate the community by offering authentic German cuisine and festival favorites from local vendors. There will be local and traditional beer selections available, including Hofbräu Oktoberfest, Spaten Oktoberfest, Schlafly Pumpkin, and others. This year’s event will feature a new wine menu with Z. Alexander Brown Red Blend, Gnarly Head Grateful Dead Cabernet Sauvignon, and more.
“Whether you’re savoring a stein of authentic German beer, indulging in hearty Oktoberfest fare, or dancing to live polka music, there’s something for everyone at this cultural, family event,” said Adison Glick, special events senior team leader at Naper Settlement. “This festival provides an immersive experience that captures the essence of Oktoberfest. We offer one of the most extensive Oktoberfest draft beer menus in the area, as well as a variety of live music and activities, all under a beautifully decorated and heated tent.”
Oktoberfest tickets are $20 adults and $15 youth ages 4-12. Naper Settlement members and children under 4 receive complimentary admission. No outside food or beverages are permitted. Oktoberfest tickets support the Naperville Heritage Society’s mission to collect, document, preserve, and support the history of Naperville, Illinois past and present.
