    Oswego Teen Killed In Tragic Car Crash

    An Oswego teenager is dead after the vehicle he was driving caught fire after hitting a tree in unincorporated Oswego Friday evening.

    The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident which occurred at approximately 8:51pm Friday evening on Minkler Road near the intersection with Reservation Road.

    The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Sean Fader of Oswego was traveling southbound on Minkler Road when the car left the roadway, striking a tree and catching fire. Fader was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

    This investigation is ongoing and being coordinated along with the Kendall County Coroner’s Office.
