The man who died after falling in a canyon at Starved Rock State Park over the weekend has been identified as  38-year-old Albert Cramer of Oswego.

According to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Cramer died at around 4:30pm Saturday after a fall at Illinois Canyon, one of the 18 canyons in the park, which is located in LaSalle County.

Preliminary results of an autopsy performed by the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office indicated that Cramer died of injuries sustained in the fall and there is no suggestion of foul play.

The incident remains under investigation.
