The 17th annual Kite Fly, hosted by the Naperville Park District and presented by The Branch-Naperville Moms, will be held at Frontier Sports Complex, located at 3380 Cedar Glade Drive, on Sunday, June 2 from 12:00pm-4:00pm. This free event gives families the opportunity to view ginormous, visually-stunning kites flown by professional kite enthusiasts from Chicago Kite; attendees are also welcome to fly their own kites.
In addition to kite-flying, two steel bands made up of students from Neuqua Valley High School will delight attendees with their unique-sounding, tropical music from 2:00pm-3:45pm.
Back by popular demand, KidsMatter is hosting their Games from Around the World, which is an educational and fun activity for families and children to learn about other cultures through games played in other countries.
Additionally, during the event, residents will have an opportunity to visit the Naperville Park District tent to provide feedback regarding the organization’s indoor recreation space initiative.
Food trucks on site include Brown’s Chicken, Kona Ice, and John’s Ribs.
