A signature sign of summer in Aurora is here again.
The Aurora Farmers Market opens it’s 112th season this Saturday, June 1, in downtown Aurora.
Every Saturday morning from June 1 through October 5, patrons can visit the state’s oldest farmers market from 8am to 12pm at Water Street Square, 65 S. Water St., across from Aurora City Hall.
Dozens of familiar farmers and fan favorites will be joined by new vendors to offer something for everyone in the family. Visitors can enjoy a Saturday morning shopping at the marketing, eating, listening to live music, and visiting downtown businesses.
A second market is projected to open Wednesday, July 3, in the parking lot of Luigi’s Pizza, 732 Prairie Street. This market will run through August and will be open from 10am to 2pm.
Both locations will accept the Illinois Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) LINK card.
