Join the VFW Post 3873, American Legion Post 43, and the Naperville Municipal Band for their annual Memorial Day observance.
Memorial Day ceremonies will be held at the following times and locations:
7:45 am – CDR Dan Shanower/9-11 Memorial at City Hall
8:15 am – G.A.R. Monument in Naperville Cemetery
(south side of cemetery)
8:35 am – Veterans Park (100 E. Gartner Road)
9:00 am – Ss Peter & Paul Cemetery (911 North Avenue)
9:25 am – Burlington Square (307 N. Ellsworth Street)
The annual Memorial Day Parade is scheduled to kick-off from the corner of West Street and Jackson Avenue at 10:30am, concluding at Central Park at around 11:45.
A Memorial Day Observance Ceremony will be held at Central Park following the parade, beginning at approximately noon.
Guests are also asked to participate in the National Moment of Remembrance by observing one minute of silence at 3 p.m. for the many military veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice and lost their lives in service to our country, including the 114 residents of Naperville that died while on Active Duty.
