    Naperville Police Investigate Fatal Crash On Naper Boulevard

    A 51-year-old man is dead after his vehicle crashed into a tree on Naper Boulevard Sunday evening.

    At approximately 7:01pm Sunday, the Naperville Police and Fire departments responded to a single-vehicle crash involving injuries near the intersection of Naper Boulevard and 87th Street.

    The initial investigation indicates that a blue Toyota Scion driven by a Lisle man was southbound on Naper Boulevard approaching 87th Street when it crossed northbound lanes of traffic, left the roadway, and struck a tree.

    The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

    The identity of the driver is being withheld pending the ongoing investigation. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact Naperville Police Department’s Traffic Unit at (630) 420-8833.
