As part of the ongoing Union Pacific third main line project underway in Geneva, Metra has announced that Platform 2, the outbound platform, will be closed commencing October 9 and lasting through the end of 2024.

Beginning October 9, commuters must use the temporary platform that will be located east of Third Street in downtown Geneva.

Metra advised commuters to allow additional time to access the in-service platform and to exercise caution near work zones.
