An Aurora man was arrested Wednesday by Naperville police officers following a month-long investigation into alleged drug dealing in the Naperville area.
During the afternoon hours Wednesday, Naperville police executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue, Aurora. Several items of evidentiary value were recovered from the residence including a white powdery substance, which field-tested positive for the presence of cocaine, and packaging materials consistent with narcotics trafficking.
Four firearms and United States currency were also recovered.
The 25-year-old suspect was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Unlawful Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Class 1 felony. A second subject, a juvenile, was also arrested and subsequently released without charges pending further investigation.
