Naperville’s 2023 Last Fling will take place from Friday, September 1, through Monday, September 4, as an end-of-summer block party-style event along Jackson Avenue in downtown Naperville. Mark your calendar to join the members, volunteers, and neighbors for the weekend’s live music, food and beverages, and carnival fun!
Musical Lineup
Friday, September 1 will feature Hairbangers Ball at 8PM, an interactive hair band experience, named “Best Rock Band ” by the public in their hometown of Chicago. Mix Tape Junkies will kick-off the weekend’s musical line-up at 5PM; their songs will have your guests singing and dancing along to favorites from the late seventies through the eighties.
The fun continues on Saturday, September 2 with Too Hype Crew, headlining the Jackson Avenue Stage at 8PM, paying tribute to the fun hip-hop and party anthems of the 80’s, 90’s, and early 00’s, featuring an all-live seven piece band. Taking the stage at 5:15PM are 90’s Pop Nation performing covers of the biggest pop hits, one hit wonders, sing-alongs, and dance hits from the 90’s while at 2:30PM, you will be entertained by The PriSSillas an all-female ensemble covering everything from Zeppelinto the The Stones, Dolly Parton to Johnny Cash, Blondie to 4 Non Blondes, Janis Joplin to Pearl Jam…and so much more. Their interactive performances will have you singing along and leaving your troubles behind. Starting the music on Saturday at 12PM is OMT’s multi-talented group performing a variety of music from Rock to Indie to Country and from classic to current hits!
On Sunday, September 3, Sixteen Candles Band tops the night at 8PM with their undeniable energetic and exciting concert experience which audiences won’t soon forget! At 5:15PM, The Ron Burgundy’s will croon soft rock from the 60s, 70s and 80s! At 2:30PM, you will be entertained by The Country Night, who will deliver all your favorite new country hits plus the classics! Naperville locals,Within 4 Days, take the stage at 12PM to entertain the crowd with music from several decades and many genres; enjoy songs from artists like The Beatles, Bon Jovi, The Eagles, Zac Brown Band, Matchbox 20, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Darius Rucker.
On Labor Day Monday, Hi Infidelity will close out the 2023 Last Fling performing 80’s Rock favorites; Journey, REO, Bon Jovi and Boston along with new classics too on September 4 at 3:45PM. Starting at 12PM, Rick Lindy and the Wild Ones! will salute legendary artists such as Elvis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, The Beatles and more during a complimentary lunch for Military Veterans, in the Sponsors’ Area, near the Jackson Avenue Stage.
Other Events
Family events will take place at the Riverwalk Amphitheater and will include a variety of attractions, including Dave DiNasso’s Traveling World of Reptiles, a spaghetti eating contest, a water balloon toss, a dunk tank and much more.
The parade, which begins Monday at 10am, will begin near the intersection of Mill Street and 5th Avenue, just south of Naperville North High School and wind through Downtown Naperville until ending just east of Naperville Central High School.
The Business Exposition, Food and Beverage vendors will be found along Jackson Avenue between Main and Eagle Streets. There, patrons may interact with businesses or purchase food and drinks – including craft beer – from a wide variety of vendors.
