Tickets are now on sale for Naper Settlement’s Oktoberfest, All Hallows Eve, and Howlin’ at the Moon.

The museum will kick off the fall season with Oktoberfest, a festival featuring German food, beer, activities, and live music on Oct. 6 from 5-10 p.m. and Oct. 7 from 3-10 p.m. Families with children 16 years old and under will enjoy a lineup of Halloween-themed outdoor activities and performances at All Hallows Eve on Oct. 20-21 from 6:30-10 p.m. At Howlin’ at the Moon, adults (21+) are encouraged to come dressed in costumes to howl along to live music, watch thrilling performances, feast their fangs on cuisine, and quench their undying thirst in a booze bar on Oct. 27-28 from 5-10 p.m.

A 15-foot werewolf art installation created by nationally recognized Naperville artist Paul Kuhn will be on display at All Hallows Eve and Howlin’ at the Moon. A zombie photo experience created by horror photographer Joshua Hoffine and professional makeup and FX artist Damien Zimmerman will also be featured at All Hallows Eve and Howlin’ at the Moon.

    Oktoberfest

At Oktoberfest, traditional German cuisine and beer will be overflowing in a giant heated tent, with lively Oompah music on Friday and a mix of pop-polka, country, and hip hop on Saturday. There will be lawn games for the whole family and a professional pumpkin carver onsite. Guests can also test their strength in a stein holding contest on Saturday. On Friday, Ed Wagner’s Lustige Blaskapelle will perform from 5:30-7:30 p.m. followed by the Polkaholics from 8-10 p.m. On Saturday, there will be performances by Freeze Dried from 3-5 p.m., Whiskey Romance from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and Lowdown Brass Band from 8-10 p.m. For tickets and more information, visit NaperSettlement.org/Oktoberfest.

    All Hallows Eve

Magic, monsters, and mythical entertainment will be summoned on the grounds of Naper Settlement at All Hallows Eve. The event features a lineup of Halloween-themed outdoor activities, art, and performances for the entire family. Guests will be wowed by fire dancers, a magician, an acts of danger show, two Halloween-themed skits, and an alien autopsy. Interactive experiences include axe throwing, a zombie maze, a dark art gallery, and more. Local student musicians from the School of Rock will also perform a medley of Halloween songs throughout the event. For tickets and more information, visit NaperSettlement.org/AllHallowsEve.

    Howlin’ at the Moon

Howlin’ at the Moon will feature mind-blowing performances and attractions, a costume contest, and more at the 21+ Halloween bash. Performances include an impalement artist, an acts of danger show, and fire dancers. Guests can participate in axe throwing, evil photo-ops, and shop for eerie and bizarre items from Halloween-themed vendors in the moonlight market. The food truck graveyard will feature local cuisine, and the booze bar will include a variety of alcoholic beverages. Music performances on Friday include Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and OMT. On Saturday, Here Nor There will take the stage, as well as a performance by a special guest who will be revealed later this month. Howlin’ at the Moon is for adults 21 years old and older only.
