Emagine Entertainment, a manager of luxury theatres around the US, will hold a special screening of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” at 2 p.m., July 11, as it unveils its new Super EMX Auditorium.
The Super EMX auditorium is billed as the largest movie screen in Illinois, measuring over 96 feet wide and 53 feet tall (the size of an NBA court flipped on its side). The 4K laser-projected image is paired with a Dolby Atmos® immersive sound system with 70 channels of sound.
The Emagine Batavia theatre, located at 550 Randall Rd. in Batavia, formerly the Randall 15 IMAX, was purchased by Emagine back in the Spring of 2020 along with theatres in Saginaw, MI, Noblesville, IN and Portage, IN. The building has been completely transformed into a luxurious, upscale movie theatre. It boasts 12 state-of-the art auditoriums which include 2 private screening rooms equipped with 4k projections, and which feature luxury heated recliners and cuddle chairs.
In addition, there is a High Roller Room which features a full-service bar, shuffleboard, video games, pool tables, large screen televisions, and four Brunswick Duckpin Social® bowling lanes featuring Spark®, the first immersive, interactive scoring experience in the bowling industry that is making its U.S. debut at Emagine Batavia.
Tickets for Super EMX showings will be on sale at www.Emagine-Entertainment.com or through the Emagine app.
