    Lynfred Winery Viognier 2022
Viognier is a traditional and powerful white grape grown in Languedoc-Roussillon and the Rhône Valley of France. Viognier is used in famous blends with both Marsanne and Roussanne, and it is grown in other countries like Australia and the United States. In the United States, California is home to the production of gorgeous Viognier wines with the classic perfumed character that they exhibit in the French cradle, but they take on more of a tropical dimension. Lynfred Winery’s 2022 Viognier was produced with grapes grown in the warm area of Ripon, California. Lynfred used 10% Chardonnay, which was fermented and aged in 10% French oak, leading to a silky and elegant wine with bold tropical flavors and a creamy texture. Pair this wine with curried chicken salad sandwiches, grilled scallops and shrimp, or triple cream Brie. $22.75 at www.lynfredwinery.com

    Adelsheim Pinot Noir
Throughout most of America Red wine is thought of as a cool-weather beverage and enjoyed in the fall or winter. But throughout most of the old world, they drink red wine year-round, focusing on what is referred to as the ‘thin-skinned’ varietals like tempranillo, Nebbiolo, grenache, Sangiovese, and the American favorite, pinot noir. This 100% Pinot Noir, Adelsheim Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, shines as one of those great year-round wines with over 90% of the grapes from Adelsheim Estate Vineyards. This vibrant wine will give you everything you’re looking for during the summer days or cool nights with a strong raspberry, cassis palate and hints of cinnamon and herbs. Grab this from the PRIDE for only $37.99
