    Aurora Police Seek Information In Shooting Incident That Hospitalized Two

    The Aurora Police Department has issued a request for the public’s assistance in locating any information or tips from a shooting that left two people hospitalized at a party on the city’s east side.

    On Saturday, June 3rd, at approximately 10:36PM, police responded to a call for a fight in progress in the area of South Broadway & Bluff Street. It was later discovered that two people had been shot in the backyard of a residence in the 600 block of South Broadway. One 18-year-old male victim was transported to an area hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. One 18-year-old female victim was transported to an area hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

    During the course of the preliminary investigation, detectives determined that a large group of people were attending a graduation party at a local residence when a fight broke out which turned into shots being fired.

    Detectives are asking that anybody with any information or tips from the shooting to contact detectives at 630-256-5500 or email to [email protected].

    Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at (630) 892-1000. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards up to $5,000 and anonymity to people who furnish information leading to the arrest of felony crime offenders and the capture of felony fugitives.
