From humble beginnings in Tel Aviv, Israel, Shuki relocated to Los Angeles in the 1990s, where he quickly rose to manage one of the most prominent catering companies in the city with clients that included some of Hollywood’s biggest names and organizations. It was there that Shuki honed his mastery for event planning, which lead to the start of his own personal event planning company, Exceptional Events by Shuki Moran, which he still leads today. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Shuki is renowned for his innovative concepts and flawless execution. Under his leadership, the company has successfully organized a wide range of events, from opulent weddings and corporate galas to high-profile fundraisers and intimate celebrations.
Shuki’s ability to connect with clients on a personal level allows him to curate bespoke experiences that reflect their individual style and preferences. In 2023, he used that same vision to bring Hollywood glamour to the Fox Valley with his new wedding & event venue, Revelry 675. Located along the famous Fox River less than one mile from Downtown Batavia, this brand-new show-stopping wedding & event venue was designed by Shuki to bring his clients’ visions to life, streamlining the entire experience from dining and dancing to cocktails and décor in a gorgeous modern motif.
“I designed our 5,000-square-foot indoor reception and event space for great views of the entire room no matter where you are seated, with a flexible floor plan to allow for a range of seating designs and dance floor placement,” said Shuki. “I selected this location specifically because of the view of the Fox River and the flexibility to blend the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly. Your party can move between the indoor reception space and our gorgeous 2,200-square-foot outdoor patio and bar for a memorable cocktail hour overlooking the Fox River.”
