Wine selections available at local wine stores and wineries in the Fox Valley area

    Catena Alta Chardonnay
Mendoza, Argentina, 2020 – $35.99. Catena Alta is an assemblage of historic rows within the Catena family estate vineyards. The blend of these historic rows, like the combination of sounds that create a symphony, gives us highly aromatic and elegant wine that speaks for the terroir and the vines that have been tended by the four generations of the Catena Family. “Alta” means high in Spanish. This makes reference to the high altitude vineyards from where the grapes are sourced, and to the high end wines that are produced with these special grapes.

The fruit from the Adrianna vineyard has a purity of flavors and a minerality that is particular to this vineyard and can not be found anywhere else in Mendoza. The nearby, gravel-covered Domingo Vineyard makes up 20% of the blend. 14 months in French oak barrels.

    Windmill City
Windmill City gets its name from Batavia, IL, which was known as the windmill capital of the world, and where our second tasting room is soon to open! A medium bodied dry white shows off its versatility, being able to cater to many different palates. With notes of baked apple on the nose leading to the honeyed quince and pear finish, this wine screams summer. Southeast Asian cuisine with a sweet and sour element would pair perfectly, but also don’t forget about this wine come the holidays. A turkey dinner with cranberry sauce and Windmill City are made for each other.

    Warhol Wine
Many women influenced Warhol in his art. Women were often his muses, including Grace Jones, Debbie Harry, Edie Sedgwick, Bianca Jagger, Diane von Fürstenberg, and more. Our Warhol-inspired 2021 Malbec-Syrah blend takes inspiration from the women who have been at the heart of Lynfred Winery since its inception. High-toned roses represent Roselle as the backdrop to Lynfred’s growth.

Let your senses delight in Lynfred’s 2021 Malbec-Syrah, with notes of roses, violets, blueberries, and hints of mint masterfully crafted to satisfy your palate and complement any occasion.

Paul Hobbs West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
We have the newly released 2021 Paul Hobbs West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Coming from the newly established West Sonoma Coast AVA, this inaugural release is deep ruby in tint with Bing cherry, wild mountain berry, and an ethereal note of damp earth. Vibrant red and blue fruits dance on the palate, accompanied by oyster shell and a stony tension in character with its coastal influences. Every glass leaves you with a silky texture and uplifted acidity adding sophistication and intensity to this wine, as well as a remarkably long finish.
