Springbrook Golf Course is an 18-hole, parkland-style golf course located at 2220 W. 83rd Street in Naperville. Beautiful, mature trees and lush foliage complement the manicured greens, tees and fairways. Built in 1974, the facility includes a natural turf driving range tee, a 15,000 square foot practice putting green, and two short game practice greens with bunkers. These amenities combined with Springbrook’s exceptional course design draw golfers of all skill levels to return time and again to play.
In August 2022, a $3.5 million renovation began at Springbrook, including a complete rebuild of all tees and bunkers, reconstruction of two ponds and two bridges, new collection areas and mounding at green surrounds, and additional drainage improvements. The driving range and practice areas are open, and the entire course will reopen in June 2023. Naperbrook Golf Course is an 18-hole, links-style course located at 22204 W. 111th Street in Plainfield. The course features rolling hills, native prairie grasses and ten ponds, with four sets of tees, large greens, one double green, hidden bunkers and wide fairways. Additional amenities include a recently renovated practice area, including a 27,000 square foot natural turf range tee, practice bunker, and a 12,000 square foot practice green with chipping areas. A two-phase project to create an additional short game practice area is currently underway, with expected completion in the summer of 2024.
The clubhouses at both courses include golf shops stocked with brand-name golf accessories, equipment and apparel. The food service areas accommodate 60, serving a wide variety of snacks and beverages, with grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and brats on the weekend. An outdoor patio at each course provides a beautiful place to enjoy some pre- or post-game refreshments.
Programs at Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses provide a full range of choices for golfers at all levels. Golf lessons taught by PGA golf professionals in private, group or video formats focus on the individual needs of youth and adult golfers. Junior golfers can participate in camps, clinics and leagues, including the PGA Junior League. Family Golf rates allow parents and kids to enjoy playing together at a great value during evening hours. Adults can participate in a variety of leagues and clinics, a Season Reserved Tee Time program, Brooks Links Memberships and a full season of tournaments.
