Two women are in custody in relation to a stabbing incident on Aurora’s south side Tuesday evening.
At 5:35pm Tuesday, APD officers identified two victims, a 21-year-old female and 41-year-old female, both of Aurora, with apparent stab wounds in the 1200 block of South Fourth Street.
Officers learned that a disturbance occurred outside a residence at that location during which two offenders, each armed with a knife, stabbed the victims about the body causing injuries to each victim. The victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition, each suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.
Two Aurora women, 21 years old and 20 years old, respectively, have been arrested and charged as follows:
- Aggravated Battery; use of deadly weapon (class 3 felony)
- Aggravated Battery; great bodily harm (class 3 felony)
- Mob Action; use of force or violence (class 4 felony)
The incident remains under investigation.
