Former Chicago White Sox and 2005 World Series MVP Jermaine Dye will tee it up at Rich Harvest Farms on June 11-12, 2023, for his 8th annual Fresh Start Caring For Kids Celebrity Golf Classic.
Jermaine Dye and Honorary Chairperson Kevin Miller will kick off the two-day event on Sunday, June 11th. The tournament dinner will be held in the Rich Harvest Farm’s car museum from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The next day, June 12th, the golf tournament will have a 9:00 am shotgun start, and groups will play a best-ball format. Foursomes will be paired with a celebrity, compete for prizes, and an awards lunch will follow the golf tournament.
“Since starting the tournament, we have been blessed to raise more than $600,000 and performed 113 surgeries for kids suffering from physical deformities or congenital disabilities,” said Dye. “Through the partnership with Mr. Jerry Rich at Rich Harvest Farms, Comer Children’s Hospital, the medical providers, our sponsors, and the generosity from our supporters has provided nearly $4.7m free medical care for these kids in need.”
TOURNAMENT DINNER Sunday, June 11, 2023
The dinner will be hosted in the world-renowed car museum at Rich Harvest Farms. The evening will feature dinner, open bar, auction items, various experience packages and an opportunity to mingle with Jermaine Dye and his celebrity friends.
GOLF TOURNAMENT Monday, June 12, 2023
Golfers will be paired with a celebrity in their foursome and compete for prizes in a best ball scramble format. Golfers will receive a gift bag, breakfast, beverages on the course, and an awards luncheon at the conclusion of the golf tournament.
