The Naperville Park District has a lineup of free, outdoor special events for the community to enjoy this summer. Beginning in June, this schedule offers a variety of entertainment for all ages, from favorite dance music to children’s shows to family-friendly movies in the park.
Concerts In Your Park
The Concerts in Your Park series brings family-friendly music by talented, local bands to different parks throughout the community on Sunday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. The community is encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, purchase food from one of the food trucks on site or bring a picnic, and enjoy an evening outdoors with family, friends and neighbors.

June 11 – Superchair Band at Queensbury Greens, 1520 Brookdale Rd.
June 25 – Fletcher Rockwell at Winding Creek Park, 144 W. Bailey Rd.
July 9 – Gen FuZe at Ashwood Park, 4603 Chinaberry Lane
July 16 – BackForward Band, Wil-O-Way Park, 1408 W. Jefferson Ave.
July 23 – OMT at Three Meadows Park, 1320 Brittany Ave.
July 30 – Scarlett’s Fire at Tall Grass Park, 3512 Grassmere Rd.
Food trucks that may be on site include Go Doggy Run, John’s Rib House, Ben & Jerry’s and Boom Box Burgers.
Children’s Lunch Hour Entertainment
Children’s Lunch Hour Entertainment provides fun, interactive shows for kids and their families on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. Additionally, ten minutes prior to each show the Naperville Public Library will read a story. Event locations alternate between the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, located west of Centennial Beach at 912 Sindt Court, and the 95th Street Community Plaza at Frontier Sports Complex, 3109 Cedar Glade Drive. Performances are as follows:

June 20– Istvan & His Imaginary Band at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion
June 27– Super Stolie at 95th Street Community Plaza
July 11– Ben Tartar at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion
July 18– Wendy and DB at 95th Street Community Plaza
July 25 – Miss Jamie from the Farm at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion

A Night At The Movies
A Night at the Movies brings a series of family-friendly movies to the parks on Friday evenings for everyone to enjoy. Please note that locations alternate between the 95th Street Community Plaza and Rotary Hill, and start times vary with the changing sunset time. Bring your own folding chairs or a blanket. The 2023 lineup is as follows:

August 11 – “School of Rock” at 8:15 p.m. at 95th Street Community Plaza, 3109 Cedar Glade Dr.

September 8 – “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” at 7:30 p.m. at 95th Street Community Plaza, 3109 Cedar Glade Dr.
