For those who both enjoy the Big Band sound and are Beatles fans, the Dean-Dorhauer Jazz Orchestra will perform a “Big Band Beatles” concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 20, at the historic Baker Community Center in downtown St. Charles.
Saturday Night Lights presented the Dean-Dorhauer Jazz Orchestra in a recent concert, “The Wiz vs. Diz,” that combined popular tunes from The Wizard of Oz and Disney films. Their “Big Band Beatles” show will deliver a new perspective on favorite Lennon-McCartney songs.
The concert concludes the Spring season of “Saturday Night Lights” events produced by the Norris Cultural Arts Center.
