Aurora police responded with a “heavy presence” at the Fox Valley Mall yesterday evening, ultimately taking two suspects into custody.
According to police, officers engaged in a foot pursuit of two suspects. One suspect was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. The second suspect was located and taken into custody after an extensive ground search of the area.
The incident remains under investigation and no indication of alleged criminal activity has been forthcoming.
APD, however, believes that here is no danger to the community at this time.
